III.Application Eligibility

1. Non-Chinese citizens, with a valid passport and in good health both mentally and physically( An applicant who was originally a Chinese citizen but has acquired a foreign nationality should meet the conditions set by the Document No.12 (2020) issued by Ministry of Education of the PRC);

2. Applicants for undergraduate programs are required to hold high school diploma or its equivalent under the age of 25;

V.Applicants Documents

1. Copy of valid passport information page; 

2. Diploma and certification of highest education(notarized photocopy), academic transcripts( Prospective diploma winners must submit official proof of student status by their current school);

3.Original score report of the “China Scholastic Competency Assessment” (CSCA Test). Visit www.csca.cn for more details.

4. A valid HSK4 certificate with scores of 180 or above(gotten after January 1^st, 2024);

5. A study or research plan (in Chinese or in English, no less than 500 words);

6.The Foreigner Physical Examination Form. (The results are valid for only six months. The original document must cover all the items listed in the Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are invalid. );

7. Non-Criminal Record;

8. Self- introduction video(in Chinese or English);

9.Proof of Financial Guarantee.

Note: 1. All the above documents in languages other than Chinese or English shall be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English; 2. An applicant under the age of 18 shall submit the legal documents of his/ her legal guardians in China.

Ⅶ. Admission and Enrollment

1. Check your Email or login in  https://gszy.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx to check your application status. Make sure your email address is correct and check your email occasionally to avoid missing some important information.

2. Successfully admitted candidates should confirm your offer through email within 10 working days. The E-version of The Admission Notice and the download link of The Visa Application Form (JW201/202) will be sent by Email in 15-20 working days. The admission notice and JW201/202 shall be downloaded, printed and signed by candidates themselves.

3. International student insurance must be purchased before entering China. Choose 800-yuan plan and complete payment on the website https://www.lxbx.net/. For the procedure of online payment, please refer to Appendix. After successfully paying, please send the PDF file of List of insurance information for foreigner staying in China to gjjyxy@gszy.edu.cn. Those who do not pay for insurance as required will not be registered.

4. All the admitted students should register within the  limited time specified in The Admission Notice. Original application documents are required for freshman registrations. The admission offer will be regarded invalid if students fail to register two weeks beyond the required enrollment period.

5. Applicants who provide false information or fail the physical re-examination will have their admission qualifications revoked.

(1) GSUCM President Scholarship sponsorship list will be determined based on a comprehensive evaluation depends on the "Management Measures of the GUCM President Scholarship for International Students in China" and the application materials of the applicants;

(2) GSUCM President Scholarship students will be reviewed in each academic year based on "Evaluation and Distribution Measures for Gansu Silk Road Special Scholarship for GUCM International Students" to determine the Gansu Silk Road Special Scholarship sponsorship list and the grades.
